Ray Ferrari is vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) for Boeing Commercial Airplanes. In this position, he is responsible for the overall financial management of Commercial Airplanes, a business unit of The Boeing Company. In addition to the Finance organizations, Contracts and Business Operations also report to Ferrari. He was named to this position in February 2009.
Previously, Ferrari was vice president of Finance - CFO for Network and Space Systems (N&SS), a business in the Boeing Integrated Defense Systems operating unit from January 2007 to February 2009. His responsibilities included overall coordination and approval of finance-related activities for the five divisions of N&SS, which serves as the company's center for network integration, intelligence and surveillance systems, communications architectures and space exploration.
Prior to that, Ferrari was the vice president of Finance - CFO for Boeing Missile Defense Systems, a division of N&SS.
Ferrari joined Boeing in August 1978. Since then, he has held various program and staff assignments, including Corporate Financial Planning and Integrated Defense Systems controller, and has been assigned to Finance organizations in Kansas, Puget Sound, St. Louis, Southern California and Northern Virginia.
Ferrari attended Embry Riddle University and graduated with a bachelor of science in management. He was born in Bronxville, N.Y.
