Overview
Advanced Information Systems (AIS) is headquartered in Anaheim, California and has California offices in Seal Beach and Sunnyvale in addition to Herndon, Virginia. AIS is divided into five areas of focus: advanced programs, information systems, marine systems, network systems, and tactical systems.
Key programs and activities include the Echo Ranger commercial surveying unmanned undersea vehicle (UUV), the acoustic subsystem for the U.S. Navy's P-8A Poseidon aircraft program, and exploratory development work conducted in the AIS Network Laboratory. Advanced Information Systems is a business in Intelligence and Security Systems, the Boeing division that is dedicated to providing ground-based and other integrated intelligence and security solutions for a variety of U.S. government customers. More than half of the work performed by AIS supports classified government programs.
